How President Trump’s Turbulent 30 Days In Office May Lead To His Impeachment By Tony Ogunlowo

By Tony Ogunlowo

Every new President in the United States spends his first month in office getting to know and thank the people who elected him into office, talking (politely) to fellow world leaders, selecting his executive team, using the media to get his message out and starts to implement his election campaign policies.
But not President Trump….

In less than 30 days as the President he’s managed to upset nearly everyone in the world – the Chinese, Russians, Mexicans, Iranians, Muslims – he even put the phone down on the Australian Prime Minister!

Unique and unlike any other American President before him he’s an egomaniac, bully and misogynist and not to talk of him being crass; he makes ex-President bush look clever. He sees himself as an Emperor and if care isn’t taken to curb him he has all the makings of a wannabe dictator. I mean what kind of President demeans himself by acting like a juvenile delinquent, on steroids, tweeting his every dissatisfaction on Twitter and having spats with people? Hasn’t he heard of a thing(s) called decency, conduct and protocol? Obviously not!

Breaking with protocol and in a rare display of nepotism, never before seen in American politics, Mr Trump has populated his inner circle with family and cronies – with his daughter, Ivanka, standing in as First Lady In Waiting( - is the real First Lady, Melania, on vacation?)

His election promise to get Muslims from seven countries banned from entering the United States has been overturned by judges who have deemed it unconstitutional and discriminating. He’s still going to build his Mexican wall but now realises America will have to pay for it. He is even reported to be considering the use of more than a force of 100, 000 national guards to hunt down illegal immigrants.

His erratic behaviour is causing a major concern amongst world leaders who are not sure what he’s going to next. This is the man who has got his finger firmly on the nuclear button forcing Russia to step up its game in readiness for an all-out nuclear war should Trump flip.

Already he’s fired all foreign US ambassadors, fired sally Yates, acting US attorney-general, for opposing his US-ban on Muslims policy. He’s fired six of his White House staff after they failed FBI background checks. Michael Flynn, his top national security official, quit in the wake of secret contacts with Russian spies during his election campaign and the White House is in total disarray.

He’s constantly battling the press, singling out CNN and The Post as his arch-enemies claiming they only publish ‘fake news’ all the time ( - especially when things don’t go his way!).

His reluctant First lady ,Melania, is holed up in Trump Tower in New York most of the time and doesn’t want to seem to come out and leading politicians reckon he needs a psychiatrist on stand-by 24/7 as he’s mentally unstable and could suffer a meltdown.

Also, because he’s a billionaire his business interests conflict with his official duties as President. He claims he has signed over all his business interests over to his sons, who now run his empire, but everybody knows he’s still the power behind the throne. Where will he find the time to run the country?

There have been widespread demonstrations, worldwide, protesting against his stand on Muslim immigrants and travel and his treatment of women.

Finally on the 16th of February he gave a surprise 90 minute press conference claiming he had achieved more in his first few weeks than any of his predecessors saying ‘the White House is running like a fine-tuned machine’, while at the same time taking a swipe at the New York Times and CNN (again!) over his campaign aides links with Russia.

Running a country, the size of America, is not the same as running a business empire or a TV reality programme and the incumbent will have to learn to follow protocol and listen to the wishes of the people who elected him in the first place. At a time when there is a lot of turmoil in the world, America needs a clear headed President to head the world’s most powerful nation something Donald Trump clearly isn’t.

If in the space of less than a month he has managed to alienate himself from the people he’s supposed to lead there’s no saying what he’ll do if he’s allowed to complete his four year tenure. Knowing the Americans they’ll probably impeach him before then or…..

Donald Trump Fires His Senior National Security Council Adviser For Disagreeing With Him

The White House has confirmed that US president Donald Trump has fired his senior US National Security Council adviser, Craig Deare.

Reason - Craig dared to criticise Donald Trump administration's Latin American policies. He has been reassigned to his old job at the National Defense University, an appointed position he's held since January 2001.

Sarah Sanders, a White House spokeswoman said Craig Deare was removed from his role as a senior

adviser at the National Security Council's Western Hemisphere division Friday and "sent back to his original position'.

Deare had been assigned to the NSC adviser by the Trump administration.

Deare reportedly knocked the Trump administration's handling of Latin American policies during a speech at The Wilson Center Thursday in Washington. He also criticized overall White House dysfunction.

CNN reports they could not independently confirm the account, and Deare did not respond to a request for comment.

Fielding questions about Deare's reassignment, Sanders said that people who don't agree with President Donald Trump should not have a job in his White House.

"I don't think that any person that is there in order to carry out the President's agenda should be against the President's agenda.
It seems pretty silly that you would have someone who is not supportive of what you are trying to accomplish there to carry out that very thing."
If you don't support the President's agenda then you shouldn't have a job in the White House."

'You Can't Keep Waging War With Your Media. Time To Focus On More Important Things'- Piers Morgan's Public Letter To Donald Trump

TV Host/online columnist, Piers Morgan, has written a public letter to U.S President, Donald Trump urging him to end his war with the media and focus on delivering the promises he made to the American people during his campaign.

The letter is made all the more interesting, as Morgan is Donald Trump's friend and avid supporter. In his column for the DailyMail UK posted today, Piers Morgan blasted media agencies but also positively criticized the U.S President.

Read his letter below....

Dear Mr President,
Slow down. Tone down. Calm down.
I know why you’re so angry.
It enrages you that the same media who blew so much collective smoke up your backside in the first few months of your campaign are now blowing so much collective fire and brimstone.
They’re behaving like Dr Frankenstein when he lost control of his creature, and displaying much of the same fevered hysteria.

It’s made some of them rankly hypocritical, demanding – rightly – that every word that comes from your presidential mouth is 100% accurate, whilst failing that simple test themselves through laziness or commercial greed.

When Buzzfeed published completely unverified claims that you had cavorted with urinating prostitutes in a Russian hotel, I despaired of my industry.

It was a disgraceful piece of opportunist click-baiting, and abrogated every basic rule of journalism.
I was similarly appalled when Time’s White House pool reporter informed the world you had removed the bust of Martin Luther King from the Oval Office.

The optics and implication of that report became instantly clear as it blazed around the world for 40 uncorrected minutes as hard evidence you’re a racist.
To quote Churchill again: ‘A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.’

This report was untrue, the MLK bust was still there. Time apologised within the hour but much of the damage was already done. I had someone the other day citing it to me on Twitter as proof you’re a racist.

‘Oh but that was a genuine mistake!’ bellowed the media, racing to offer their colleague far more latitude over mistakes than they ever afford this Trump administration.

You’ve also had to put up with CNN anchor, Carmen Aristegui, raising two fingers to her upper lip to compare you to Adolf Hitler, an evil genocidal monster who directly murdered 12 million people and started a world war that killed many, many millions more.

That should surely have been a firing offence for a network that prides itself on impartiality?
Oh, and the New Republic shamefully published an essay last week suggesting your ‘bizarre, volatile, behaviour’ may be down to the sexually transmitted infection, syphilis.

These are just some of the numerous examples of dreadful media behaviour that fully justify some of your fury.

Frankly, I have never seen such a concerted campaign of vicious personal vilification against a newly elected president.

However, it would also be true to say I have never seen a newly elected president mount such a concerted campaign of vicious vilification against the media.
I don’t have a problem with you describing specific stories as ‘FAKE NEWS!’ if they are indeed fake, like the ones I referred to.

But it’s ridiculous to describe, as you did on Friday, all of America’s main news networks, in their entirety, as ‘FAKE NEWS!’
And even more ridiculous to say they are now the ‘enemy of the People.’
They’re not. They, like you, are servants of the People.

Nor does it help your ‘FAKE NEWS!’ cause if a lot of statements from you and your team since Inauguration Day have been demonstrably inaccurate.
Truth matters from the media.

It matters even more from the President.
Speaking as a professional journalist for the past three decades, let me offer some perspective.
First, freedom of the press is an absolutely essential tool of any true democracy.

As Sir Winston Churchill, a man you admire so much you have restored a bust of him to the Oval Office, said: ‘A free Press is the unsleeping guardian of every other right that free men prize; it is the most dangerous foe of tyranny. Where men have the habit of liberty, the Press will continue to be the vigilant guardian of the rights of the ordinary citizen.’

It’s OK to criticise the media, of course it is.
But if that criticism descends into a deliberate attempt to delegitimize, as it did on Friday, then it crosses a worrying red line that leads, as Senator John McCain correctly observed, into dictatorship.
The only thing more serious would be for a leader to try to delegitimize the judiciary, which you have also done during your breathless first four weeks in office.

You described Judge James Robart as ‘a so-called judge’ because he blocked your controversial travel ban.

He’s not. He’s a federal judge appointed by the last Republican president, George W. Bush.
You may not like his decisions, and you are free to challenge them. But as President of the United States, you can’t question Judge Robart’s validity to administer justice without serious evidence to suggest he is unfit to serve. None of which has been forthcoming.

And anyway, he was right about the travel ban. It was poorly drawn up and badly executed, which is why you are now preparing an entirely new version.

As if your war with the media and judiciary wasn’t enough, you have also been engaged in a ferocious battle with your own intelligence agencies.
This has already led to the premature departure of your National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn, after just three weeks.

I’m still not sure if he did anything seriously wrong, other than – and this is not an insignificant offence - mislead the Vice-President. But Flynn was tossed on the political bonfire by your vengeful spooks in collusion with the media, because they were all fed up with the abusive way you’ve been talking about them.

Those spooks’ own behaviour has also been lamentable and possibly criminally so.
It’s appears some of them have been deliberately leaking classified information to damage you and your administration. Even worse, we’re told they may have been withholding vital intelligence from you because they don’t trust you.

If true, this is shocking and unacceptable, and you must punish the culprits.
But you must also work quickly to restore mutual trust with your intelligence agencies. You need them on your side.

Just as I also urge you to restore some mutual respect with the media and the judiciary.
They must be free to do their jobs.

It’s perfectly legitimate for reporters to properly investigate any links that may exist between your administration and Vladimir Putin’s Russia. After all, you fired General Flynn, not the media.
They’re entitled to get to the bottom of why, particularly given the whirlwind of rumours surrounding Russian’s alleged attempt to rig and hack the US election to your benefit.

That is the whole point of the 1st Amendment, which is the bedrock of the Constitution that I know you love.
As for the media, Churchill had a valuable message for my profession too:

‘Everyone is in favour of free speech. Hardly a day goes by without its being extolled. But some people’s idea of it is that they are free to say what they like but if anyone says anything back, that is an outrage.’
In other words, stop throwing indignant, over-sensitive temper tantrums every time President Trump says anything about you.

He’s entitled to criticise you, just as you’re entitled to criticise him.
Both sides just need to do it with a little more respect, and a little less rage.
Bottom line, Mr President, is that you can’t keep expending all this time and energy waging war on the media, judiciary and intelligence agencies.

You’ve made your points, loud and clear.
Now you must dial down the aggressive rhetoric and move to delivering on what you promised the American people. That’s jobs, a healthy economy, security, improved education, better health, new infrastructure and the obliteration of Islamic State.

The frustration for people like me who know you well, Mr President, and who do not think you’re a monster, is that your more incendiary rhetoric sometimes suggests to your critics that you might be.
There’s enough pathetically over-the-top, and for the most part completely unwarranted hysteria sweeping the Planet about you as it is without you fuelling the fire.

You’ve got so many exciting plans, but the good stuff’s getting drowned out in the noise of your squabbles with the messengers.

Your announcement about US coal on Friday should have provided great feel-good headlines.
Instead, all the attention moved to your latest attack on the media.
That’s just bad politics.

Mr President, you won the battle for the White House in the greatest political coup America has ever seen.

Now you must win the real war - to Make America Great Again.

Donald Trump's New Treasury Secretary’s Fiancée Appears In S*x Scenes In Her Latest Movie

Donald Trump's new Treasury Secretary definitely has an eye for figures, as his glamorous fiancée proved last week in the Oval Office.
While the President watched approvingly, Steve Mnuchin was sworn in alongside Scottish-born actress Louise Linton, 35, who revealed much more than bargained for in her latest movie, Intruder.

Stripping down for a steamy shower scene and bedroom romp, Linton achieved a level of notoriety last year when it was alleged she fabricated her experiences in Africa for her memoir.

She has also starred alongside Tom Cruise and Robert Redford in minor roles in her rise to fame.

Worth $400m, Mnuchin, 54, is the wealthiest man to ever hold the Secretary Of Treasury position and the former banker and movie producer has been criticized for working on Wall Street during the 2008 financial crisis.

'Suppressing Free Press Is How Dictators Get Started' - Sen. McCain Slams Donald Trump On His Media Criticism

Senator John McCain has slammed U.S President Donald Trump's attacks on mainstream media this week, saying dictatorship like that carried out by Saddam Hussein and Adolph Hitler "gets started by suppressing free press."

Last week, Trump blasted the mainstream media, accusing reporters of distorting facts to help special interests.
"Many of our nation's reporters and folks will not tell you the truth and will not treat you with the respect you deserve," Trump said. "Much of the media in Washington, D.C., along with New York, Los Angeles in particular, speaks for the special interests and for those profiting off the obviously very, very broken system. The press has become so dishonest that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people. The press is out of control, the level of dishonesty is out of control."

Sen. McCain of Arizona, who belongs to Trump's same Republican party blasted Trump's criticism and constant attacks on 'free press'.

"I hate the press. I hate you especially," McCain joked. "But the fact is we need you. We need a free press. We must have it. It's vital." "If you want to preserve — I'm very serious now — if you want to preserve democracy as we know it, you have to have a free and many times adversarial press," McCain said. "And without it, I am afraid that we would lose so much of our individual liberties over time. That's how dictators get started." "They get started by suppressing free press," McCain said of dictators.
"In other words, a consolidation of power when you look at history, the first thing that dictators do is shut down the press. And I'm not saying that President Trump is trying to be a dictator. I'm just saying we need to learn the lessons of history."

Russia Is Considering Returning Edward Snowden To U.S. To Gain Favour With Trump

Looks like Russia is considering turning over 'US traitor' Edward Snowden as a "gift" to US President Donald Trump, who has several times in the past called the NSA leaker a "spy" and a "traitor" who deserves to be executed.

According to a senior U.S. official who has analyzed a series of highly sensitive intelligence reports detailing Russian deliberations , it looks more than likely that they will turn Snowden in to the US intelligence.

Edward Snowden is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee, and former contractor for the United States government, who copied and leaked classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013 without any authorization. His disclosures revealed numerous global surveillance programs, many run by the NSA and the Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance, with the cooperation of telecommunication companies and European governments.

The surveillance program revealed that the US Govt was spying on private individuals without their knowledge.

Snowden flew to Hong Kong after leaving his job at an NSA facility in Hawaii, and in early June he revealed thousands of classified NSA documents to journalists Glenn Greenwald, Laura Poitras, and Ewen MacAskill.

The disclosures made some people regard him as a traitor who needs to be jailed while others considered him a Hero for leaking the documents and exposing the Govt.'s massive surveillance on various individuals.

Snowden's ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) lawyer, Ben Wizner, told NBC News they are unaware of any plans that would send him back to the United States. He said:

"Team Snowden has received no such signals and has no new reason for concern".Snowden responded to NBC's report on Twitter saying that it shows that he did not work with the Russian government like the US government has been claiming all along.

He wrote:

"Finally: irrefutable evidence that I never cooperated with Russian intel," Snowden said.
"No country trades away spies, as the rest would fear they're next."

He said he released the Govt.'s secrets independently because he wanted the American people to know what was going on within the Govt.

He also had an interview with Katie Couric where he talked more extensively about what he did, why he got asylum in Russia, why Putin refused to hand him over to the Obama Administration, how vocal he has been against the Russian government by condemning the govt's wrong doings and so on.

Watch the interview below:

Here’s what @snowden told me about the possibility of Putin handing him over as a good will gesture to the Trump administration.— Katie Couric (@katiecouric) February 10, 2017

Court Records Show That Inmates In A US Prison Have Been Breaking Out And Sneaking Back In For Years

Back in January 2013, the Atlanta Police Department started investigating inmates "temporarily escaping" from the medium-security US Penitentiary in the city, According to filed court documents (see court papers here), cops believe the inmates escaped through holes cut in the prison fence.
Court records show that officers first noticed a car parked near the prison fence line. The people inside wore ski masks and jumpsuits. When cops approached, the suspects climbed the fence and ran back onto prison grounds.

Inside the car, cops found bottled alcohol, 24 cell phones and two loaded handguns. Late last year, officers discovered two man-sized holes in the fence.

A month later, surveillance cameras were installed along the prison fence, and over the next three weeks, cops watched as inmates escaped to retrieve large bags of contraband. Then on February 3, one inmate's luck ran out. Justin B. Stinson allegedly escaped though the fence and grabbed a large black duffel back filled with contraband. As he was trying to sneak back into the penitentiary, FBI agents arrested him, according to court documents.

The FBI found Stinson with a cell phone, a pair of scissors, two 1.75-liter bottles of Jose Cuervo tequila, two cartons of Newport cigarettes, four boxes of Black & Mild Cigars and some food.

Malia Obama Joins Protest Against President Trump

Ex-President Barack Obama's daughter, Malia Obama, was reportedly spotted among protesters, protesting against President Trump's plan to revive the Dakota Access Pipeline Project.

The 18-year-old girl, who will be in Havard later this year, was among approximately 100 people who took to Main Street at the Sundance Film Festival while it was still snowing, to show their dissatisfaction with President Trump's decision to move ahead with the controversial transport system, with placards reading 'Exist. Resist. Rise.' and 'Impeach corporate control.'
Shailene Woodley
It was however, Shailene Woodley, who has been campaigning for the cause using her celebrity status, that told Democracy Now, that Malia was part of the protesters.

'It was amazing to see Malia. I saw her last night when we did the event with Chairman Dave Archambault. And it was incredible to see her there,' said Woodley, 25, when asked about the former first daughter's very public support of the cause.
She went on to say:

'Also, to witness a human being and a woman coming into her own outside of her family and outside of the attachments that this country has on her, but someone who’s willing to participate in democracy because she chooses to, because she recognizes, regardless of her last name, that if she doesn’t participate in democracy, there will be no world for her future children.'

Trump Muslim Ban- Oscar-nominated Iranian director is blocked from attending awards ceremony

An Iranian director nominated for an Oscar won't be able to attend the Hollywood award ceremony after Donald Trump signed off on his tough new immigration bans.
Asghar Farhadi is nominated in the best foreign film category for his movie The Salesman but there are fears he may now not be able to attend next month's Academy Awards.

His native Iran, which is where The Salesman was filmed, is one of seven countries listed in Trump's executive order that has placed a 90-day pause on visas and immigration to the U.S.

According to Daily Mail,Trita Parsi, president of the National Iranian American Council, tweeted on Saturday morning that Farhadi would be banned from attending the Oscars in what has become yet another fallout from Trump's immigration bans.

'Iran's Asghar Farhadi won't be let into the US to attend Oscar's. He's nominated for best foreign language film... #MuslimBan,' he wrote.

The fallout from Trump's immigration crackdown grew on Saturday as a number of non-American citizens realized they were now barred from the country where they were studying or had lived, perhaps for years.
It comes as seven refugees bound for the U.S. were stopped from boarding a plane in Cairo on Saturday and 12 migrants were detained in New York overnight because they arrived just after the executive order was signed.

''Kcee is confused and frustrated’' – Harrysong’s New Management Fires Back!

Harrysong's new management has fired back at Five Star Music over what they call a purported arrest of their artiste.
According to them, Kcee is confused and frustrated and they understand. Read below the statement released by them...

Kcee is Confused…we understand –DESMOND

A famous saying goes this way, ‘a confused man is much more an angry and frustrated man.
To be honest, going by my newest resolve to not for any reason celebrate mediocrity, laziness and talentless people, I would have chosen to be quiet and pretend as if nothing happened yesterday, January 27, 2017, but giving my role as a journalist as well as a high ranking member of Nigeria’s most talked about music company, Alterplate, I have been ‘arm twisted’ sort of to write this statement and to formerly address the concerns of our friends, well wishers, family and fans who are currently savoring our newest sound, Samankwe.

It was 8 am and Policemen acting on the instruction of the Assistant Inspector General of Police in Onikan, stormed our hotel room to invite Harrysong over for questioning.

As a law abiding citizen with nothing to fear, we got dressed up and set out for the AIGs office and on getting there we were greeted by the presence of a haggard looking young man in cheap pair of suit, identified as Five Star Music lawyer.

His awfully shallow reasoning became so evident when he was called up to defend the petition he prepared on behalf of his client (Five Star Music). He suffered a hard time convincing the AIG and his men, including a visiting Commissioner, why the charges against Harrysong were criminal rather than civil.

Even before any member of our camp could voice a word, the visiting commissioner (from the way he sounded, a very learned and experienced officer) frowned at the concocted charges and recommended that they drop the petition and rather file a suit in a civil court instead of bringing the Police into the picture.

In view of the lies peddled on some social media platforms, I wish to state here clearly that:

1) Harrysong was never whisked away by some mobile police officers to an unknown location;
2) It wasn’t an arrest but an invitation by the AIG, a high ranking police officer, which he honoured.
3) A supposed breach of contract as captured in their petition is a civil and not a criminal case.

On the other hand, as against the kangaroo statement released by Five Star music earlier today, I wish to also state that Harrysong did not at any time approach anyone or company to sign him; it was rather the other way round.

Kcee approached Harrysong on bended knees to help salvage his dying career after he fell out with his then partner. As much as Harrysong loved to help him out in that time of need, it is worthy of note that,

1. He (Kcee) was talentless and knows next to nothing about music.
2. Harrysong had a running contract with Questionmark Records, but out of desperation, Kcee and his Five Star Music were prepared to pay off Kelvin Luciano in their quest to have him (Harrysong) at all cost.

It would be recalled that Harrysong succeeded in recreating Kcee’s sound, wrote and co-produced his first meaningful single, ‘Had it been I know’, followed by ‘Okpekete’, ‘Limpopo’, ‘Pull Over’ and other songs that defined the Kcee that everyone now knows and celebrates today, all pro bono. For what it’s worth, Harrysong’s dealing with Five Star Music was with the clause that he would be left to pursue his career whenever he deemed it fit.

As the case may be, we are not surprised at the turn out of things and why Kcee-led Five Star Music has chosen the way of reproach rather than that of honour. The earlier they wake up to the reality that Harrysong had long dumped them in a trash bin and moved on, the better for them, ‘cos’ I can tell you for free, he is not coming back.

And to our fans and the general public, I wish to apologize on their behalf and to leave you with these words,

‘Kcee is confused and as such frustrated and we can understand’.

For the records, Alter plate has come to stay and you are free to do business with Harrysong and Alter plate Management, we are indeed the real deal.

Trump's America: California Wants To Secede From the United States

I guess a bit of Chaos is coming to the US following Donald Trump's election to the highest seat in the country.
The state of California wants to secede from the United States in a move that has been called 'Calexit', which if they succeed, would establish California as a separate country from the USA. This is the first time since 1861 that a state (South Carolina) would attempt to exit the US.

One of the people pushing for the recession explained why California wants out of the US;

"California is the most diverse place in the world. And we want to have more minorities, more immigrants, more international connections"
Additional report from Fox News

A proposal for California to secede from the United States was submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office Thursday.
The proposed “Calexit” initiative - its name borrowed from the UK's "Brexit" departure from the EU - would ask voters to repeal part of the state constitution that declares California an inseparable part of the U.S.
A recent poll found that one in three California residents would support a possible secession from the U.S. due to their opposition to President Trump. No mention has been made of the president in the proposal.
If the proposal qualifies for the ballot and is approved by voters, it could be a step to a future vote on whether the state would break away from the rest of the nation.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla said the group behind the proposal, Yes California Independence Campaign, was cleared to begin attempting to collect nearly 600,000 voter signatures needed to place the plan on the ballot.

"In our view, the United States of America represents so many things that conflict with Californian values, and our continued statehood means California will continue subsidizing the other states to our own detriment, and to the detriment of our children," the Yes campaign's website says.
Similar attempts to establish California as a nation, or break it into multiple states, have failed.
The proposed constitutional amendment, titled California Nationhood, would also ask voters to repeal language that states the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law.

If approved, it calls for scheduling a vote in 2019 to ask voters, "Should California become a free, sovereign and independent country?"
"America already hates California, and America votes on emotions," Marcus Evans, vice president of Yes California told the Los Angeles Times. "I think we'd have the votes today if we held it."The campaign must submit the valid voter signatures by July 25 to qualify for the ballot.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
